A very nice release from the budding Washington state label Little Spring Records, this is dreamy and foresty psychedelic folk à la Espers, Incredible String Band, In Gowan Ring, The Iditarod, etc. Arrowwood's style, defined by Chelsea R.'s ethereal and haunting vocals, is rather consistent with each track (to the point that, were the album any longer, it might even become redundant) but enchanting nevertheless. novemthree serves up a more purely instrumental sound, featuring light percussion throughout and even including a piano piece ("Vespers").
